Apple iPhone 6 Announcement In June

There have been tons of rumors about Apple‘s iPhone 6 floating around the internet for months now. Now, there are new claims from a Chinese analyst named Sun Changxu. He has said that the new iPhone will for sure come out in two different large sizes, and we could catch a glimpse of it as early as June of this year.

The newest news on the new iPhone 6 say that it will have a 4.7 inch screen with a 1,136 x 640 pixel display. Shortly after that release, there is supposed to be a different release for a phone with a 5.7 inch display. The Worldwide Developers Conference is in June, and it is very likely that Apple will show the world the new phones during that time.

Everyone has heard the rumors for a while about the next iPhone coming in larger sizes. Previous reports have said that the screen size will jump by up to an inch larger than the current iPhone. Some people have speculated that there may even be a screen size of up to 6 inches with a 1920 x 1080 resolution.

The thing that could make you wonder about a flexible display on the new iPhone is that LG has finalized their partnership with Apple. They will be producing the flexible OLED displays for Apple’s new iWatch. Production is scheduled to start later this year, so that probably means that the flexible display won’t make it’s way here fast enough for the launch of the iPhone 6, but it’s looking promising for future generations of the iPhone.

The partnership between LG and Apple has been rumored for a long time now. It is said that LG signed a deal with Apple a while back, and that the production of the iWatch displays was delayed due to decisions with the technology, manufacturing issues, and seriously poor battery life with the prototypes.

Either way, it all points to one thing: no flexible display for the iPhone 6. Honestly, I don’t think it’s really going to bother anyone that their new iPhone isn’t going to have a screen that flexes. There are so many other great updates that are said to be incorporated into the design of the new iPhone.
