Samsung Galaxy Pro Tablets Coming in Early 2014

It seems like every year, the rivalry between Samsung and Apple just gets crazier. Chances are, you have already heard about Apple’s new 12.9 inch tablet dubbed the iPad Pro. Now, we are hearing news that Samsung is swinging back with their new line called the “Galaxy Pro”. Samsung’s new Pro Series tablets will feature a 12.2 inch tablet and two other models with 8.4 inch and 10.1 inch displays. For a while, there have been rumors floating around about both companies working on a new 12 inch tablet, and it’s pretty crazy that they are both calling them the “pro”.

Samsung is supposedly launching their new Galaxy Pro tablet line in the first quarter of the new year. Reports have said that Samsung in building this Pro series along with a new lite version of the Galaxy Tab 3.

The company is working on putting out tablets that are LTE/4G compatible as well as Wi-Fi only models. The new tablets are keeping a classy look about them, coming in the colors black and white only. The 8.4 and 10.1 inch models will feature 16GB of internal storage and the 12.2 inch model will come standard with 32GB of internal storage.

The all new 7 inch Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is also going to be getting the cellular hookup. It’s going to be priced fairly inexpensively for everything it offers at $136. The GT3 Lite is expected to launch at some point during the first week of January 2014. The 8.4 and 12.2 inch Galaxy Pro variants will more than likely be released at the same time during the second week of February, shortly followed by the 10.1 inch model. All of the new tablets will hit stores by March unless there are later changes made in regards to the release date.

We already know about the 12.9 inch iPad Pro from Apple and it’s amazingly high resolution display. It has been said that it will bring the best of both worlds from the Macbook Pro and the Macbook Air, all in a tablet. Do you believe the hype?
