Garmin Debuts New Nuvi 1450 LMT GPS

Garmin nuvi 1450 LMTIn terms of technology, the bigger the screen, the better the device. At least, that’s how it always seems. While this saying is true for things like TV’s, computers, phones and other hand-held devices, it is also true for GPS units, and that includes the new Garmin nuvi 1450 LMT GPS navigation system.

What sets this device apart from others is, like I mentioned above, the large screen. However, it takes more than a large screen to sell most people on a GPS unit. But thankfully for you, Garmin didn’t hold anything back with the nuvi 1450 giving the device a lot of new features that, according to Garmin, will “guarantee that you never need another GPS unit again.”

The nuvi 1450 features upgrades like Lifetime Maps and Traffic, multiple point routing, busy highway guidance, pedestrian routing options and ecoroute options to make sure you don’t waste more fuel than necessary. The Lifetime Maps and Traffic feature is ready to go as soon as you take your nuvi out of the box.

This means that you will always have the most up-to-date routing information. Map updates are available and so are points of interest ensuring that you never lose your way again. Other features can be updated four times a year with absolutely no charge to you.

The nuvi’s display is much larger and brighter than previous models with a stunning 5-inch touchscreen. You can also view the map in better detail while getting actual directions for the driver and photos in bright colors directly on your touchscreen.

The new City Navigate feature allows you to see sites quickly and allows you to find out where everything is and exactly how long it will take you to get there. There is also an advanced navigation feature to help you navigate multiple destinations at once. Just plug in all your destinations and the nuvi will plan them all in the order that will save you the most time and money.

Overall the nuvi 1450 LMT from Garmin is a very well rounded device. The large touchscreen and multiple high-quality features make it a definite travel powerhouse. With this little device there is no way you should ever get lost again.

Power Point Projectors
Most business class projectors will do a good job displaying your PowerPoint presentation. If you have a small presentation group, a 2000 lumen LCD projector will be able to produce a nice and clear picture. For larger audiences you should consider a 5000 lumen LCD projector.
